Yolanda Guillen

Yolanda Guillen, 55, of Hobbs, NM, passed from this life April 21, 2013, in Lubbock, TX. She was born December 25, 1957, in Portales, NM, to Ruben and Consuelo Mendoza. She married Salome in Van Horn, TX, in April, 1973.

She is survived by her husband, Salome Guillen of Hobbs, NM three daughters, Analilia Gandara, and husband Enrique, of Pearsall, TX, Maria De La Luz Guillen of Hobbs, NM, and Asusena Hernandez, and husband Benjamin, of Hobbs, NM three sons, Javier Guillen of Hobbs, NM, Humberto Guillen, and wife Lucya, of Odessa, TX, and Salome Guillen III, and wife Monica, of Lovington, NM twelve grandchildren and one greatgrandchild.

She is preceded in death by a son, Eumar Guillen, a sister, Anabel Calderon and her father, Ruben Mendoza.

Yolanda was a great, loving wife, mother, grandma, sister, and daughter. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends. Being the great wife that she was she will dearly be missed and loved forever by her husband.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, April 26, 2013 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe. Rosary will be Thursday, April 25, 6:00 p.m. at Chapel of Hope. Burial will follow at Prairie Haven Memorial Park. All services are handled by Chapel of Hope. Rosary will be Thursday, April 25, 2013, 6:00 p.m.
