Willie Armitige

Williebell Armitige, 64, passed from this life December 26, 2013 in Hobbs. Williebell was born to Frank and Rhonda Brooks on December 17, 1949 in Hobbs. Williebell was a wonderful, devoted mother and grandmother. She was known for her good cooking and baking. She was always cooking good food for her family.

Williebell is survived by her husband, Jimmy Armitige her children, daughter Tennie and husband Jeremy Grady, son Julian wife Dewonder Clay, son LaDell Smith, Jr, son William Clay, and son Erskine Clay, III, all of Hobbs brothers, Ben Brooks, Donald Brooks, Thurman Brooks, and Bobby Brooks, all of Hobbs sisters, Ethel Baty, and Josephine Jones, both of Albuquerque, and Betty Brooks, of Denver, Colo. Williebell is also survived by fifteen grandchildren.

Williebell ws preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Rhonda Brooks brothers, Kermit Brooks and Frank Brooks and sisterinlaw Irene Brooks.

Funeral services are planned for 2:00 pm, Friday, January 3, 2014 at Lamb of God Christian Fellowship, 1720 S. Turner. Officiating will be Reverend J.J. Joyner. Interment will follow at Prairie Haven Memorial Park.
