William Zeboski

October 12, 1936 — January 20, 2013

Funeral services for William Bill Zeboski, 76, of Hobbs, will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 26, 2013, at Chapel of Hope with Pastor Matt Ray. Interment will be after services at Prairie Haven Memorial Park. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. 6:00 p.m. Friday, January 25, and Saturday from 8 a.m. to service time at Chapel of Hope. Bill was born October 12, 1936, in Benton, IL, to Stanley and Vera Zeboski. Bill was a high school graduate and then attended a tech school to become an electrician. He worked in the coal mines in IL, before moving to NM. Bill was a Mason.

Bill Zebo came to Carlsbad, NM from Benton, Illinois, around March of 1991. He was a former employee of the Old Ben Coal Mine and worked in coal mine 21. Bill was an electrician by trade at Eddy Potash Company in Carlsbad and later worked as a security guard for BCSI at the Navajo Refinery in Hobbs, NM.

Bill was a very kind and loving man. He was always willing to try to help someone if help was needed. His beautiful wife Kay was the love of his life. His family was his pride and joy. He had friends that were so blessed to have him as part of their lives. Bill also loved to play jokes on certain people. He also loved to go hunting with Jerry and Rudy. Some of his hunting stories were priceless. He loved going to his sons cabin in Ruidoso.
Bill passed away January 20th, 2013, at the hospital in Lubbock, TX. He was surrounded by his stepdaughter, Tami and her husband Jerry, at the time of his death. Bill Zebo touched the lives of so many people and will surely be missed. Lord if you dont have a hunting season in Heaven just get ready, for Bill will surely help you set one up....

We love and miss you. Rest in Peace.

Surviving Bill is his sister, Alvera Icenhour, and husband Wayne, of Murphy, NC son, Stephen Zeboski, and wife Heather, of Humble, TX stepdaughter, Tami Van Winkle, and husband, Jerry, of Hobbs, NM stepsons, Brian Sharrer, and wife Patricia, of May, TX, and Kevin Sharrer, and wife Sunday, of Kilgore, TX 15 grandchildren and 8 greatgrandchildren.

Preceding him in death is his wife, Kay Zeboski, and his parents.
