William Norvell

A memorial service for Willie Norvell, 35, of Hobbs, will be 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, at the 2400 block of Pinson Rd. Willie died March 23, 2012, in Hobbs. He was born January 13, 1977, in Andrews, TX, to Jacqlyn and Sam Norvell, Jr. Willie married Erin Riddle February 23, 2007, in Lovington, NM.

Willie enjoyed life, mud bogging and drag racing. He loved his Harley Davidson and was known as Rat Rod. He was a member of Brotherhood Seventyfour. Willie loved working on any vehicle. He could take them apart and put them back together again. He greatly loved his family.

Surviving Willie is his wife, Erin, of Eunice his dad, Sam Norvell, and wife Jacque, of Hobbs his mother, Jackie Locke, and husband Ed, of Denver City, TX mother and fatherinlaw, Kevin and Tom Wilson, of Hobbs fatherinlaw, Mike Riddle, of Carlsbad a son, Diesel Lane Norvell and two daughters, Kerrington Jade Cates and Peyton Michelle Cates, all of Eunice six brothers, Evan Locke of Seminole, TX, Ricky and Randy Locke of Phoenix, AZ, Mike Rivas of Albuquerque, Kirt and Chad DAponti of Odessa, TX and sister, Jill Nicole Sebastian of Las Vegas, NV.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Daniel Norvell, in 2010, and his grandparents, Bill and Estelle Stewart.
