William Dodd

No services are planned for William Jack Dodd of Eunice, New Mexico. Cremation will take place.

Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel of Hope Funeral Home.

Mr. Dodd, 73, died October 2, 2008, at his home in Eunice, New Mexico. He was born March 4, 1935, in Lyman, Okla. He married Alice Dodd on March 4, 1961, in Denver City, Texas.

Jack was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association and the Moose Lodge of Hobbs, New Mexico. He was a volunteer for 15 years for the Make-a-Wish Foundation. Jack enjoyed hunting and fishshy;ing. He retired from Warren Petroleum in Eunice and Monument, New Mexico.

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Eunice, N.M.

Survivors include his wife, Alice Dodd of Eunice, New Mexico; a son, Mike Dodd and wife Connie of Eunice, New Mexico; a daughter, Charlsa Dodd of Lovington, New Mexico; a brother, Joe Dodd of Odessa, Texas; a sister, Susan Wride of Alamogordo, New Mexico; a grandshy;son, Billy Dodd of Eunice, New Mexico; a granddaughter, Amanda Dodd of Lovington, New Mexico; three stepshy;grandsons, Justin and Brandon Terry of Fort Worth, Texas, and Tyler Terry of Eunice, New Mexico.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Marie Dodd.
