William Lux Alves II, better known as "Lee" by his family and friends, passed from this world on March 20, 2017.
He is survived by his loving wife Nancy E. Alves, his brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Sylvia Alves, his sister and brother-in-law, Denise and Mark McKenney, his step-father, Ronnie Burns, daughter and daughter-in-law, Heather and Angie Bulman and son and daughter-in-law Jon and Adrienne Bulman, and grandchildren, Brendon, Caleb, Brodie, Kade, and Jolie Belle, nieces and nephews, Susan McKenney, Christopher McKenney, Shari Shipler, and Cody Vardeman.
He loved life and lived his well. He loved his family and friends and was always ready for the next adventure. "With a drum beating in his breast..., he utters the following words to a moonlit lagoon; ‘To die will be an awfully big adventure." From Peter Pan.
His business "Lightning Industries" was selected in 2007 and 2010 and represented at the State Capital in Santa Fe, NM as the small business of the year for Southeast New Mexico.
