A memorial service for Wayne Patrick Cook of Hobbs N.M., will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 22, 2008, at Chapel of Hope Funeral Home with Pastor Mick Cavanaugh officiating. Cremation will take place at a later date.

Mr. Cook, 52, died March 16, 2008, at his home in Hobbs N.M. He was born Aug. 9, 1955 in Seminole, Texas.

Wayne served in the Air Force for four years. He enjoyed reading, fishing and riding motorcycles.

Survivors include his mothshy;er, Mary Sarver of Las Cruces, N.M.; two daughters, Cherise Bickham and husband Collin of Grapevine, Texas, and Jennifer Cook of Grapevine, Texas; his father and stepshy;mother, Wayne and Linda Cook of Grapevine, Texas; three brothers, Tony Cook and wife Anita of Boliver, Mo., Paul Cook and wife Debbie of Las Cruces, N.M., and Greg Cook and wife Brandi of Greenville, Texas; a sister, Judy Leverett and husband Woody of Midland, Texas; his grandmother, Marie Cook of Grapevine, Texas; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Wayne was preceded in death by his stepfather, Bob Sarver; a grandfather, Oscar Cook; and his grandparents, Leroy and Mary Pouncey.
