On Sunday, June 7, 2020, Virginia Rose Grayson, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother of Hobbs, NM, was called to her eternal resting place, at the age of 92. Virginia entered this world on March 20, 1928 in Oklahoma City, OK, born to Lowell and Faye Wise. She was raised in Monument, NM where she met and married Wardell Grayson on December 24, 1943 They then had their daughter, Virginia Dell Fisher, and son, Benny Ed Grayson.
Virginia was preceded in death by her father Lowell, mother Faye, husband Wardell and son Benny Ed. She is survived by her child, Virginia Dell Fisher, daughter and her husband Robert Fisher. As well as grandchildren Heath Fisher, grandson, and his wife Shea Fisher, Jason Grayson, grandson, and his wife Dana Grayson, Dustin Grayson, grandson, Cody Fisher, grandson, and his wife Debby Fisher, and Kayla Stratton, granddaughter. She also has 11 great grandchildren, Grayson Fisher, McKenna Fisher, Delaney Fisher, Ethan Grayson, Logan Grayson, Cole Grayson, Liam Fisher, Aidan Fisher, Wesley Stratton, Hudson Stratton, and Owen Stratton.
Virginia loved to be with family and friends. She was full of life, and tried to live life to the fullest by going dancing, doing crafts, playing cards, and much more. She will be greatly missed but is resting now with her parents, husband and son in heaven.
