Virginia Dobbs

Funeral services for Virginia Ann Dobbs, 75, will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 4, 2011, at Church of the Firstborn, officiated by Elders Ronnie Sutton, Monty Wittman and Bobby Wright. Interment will follow at Prairie Haven Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 a.m. 7 p.m. Thursday, November 3, and Friday, November 4, 8 a.m. until noon at Chapel of Hope Funeral Home which is in charge of arrangements.

Virginia died at her home in Hobbs November 2, 2011. She was born April 13, 1936, in Wetumka, Oklahoma, to Houston and Bobbie Kinzy. She married Dwain Dobbs, May 9, 1952, in Clayton, NM, and was baptized February 17, 1957, in Tahoka, TX. Virginia was given to hospitality, loved her church and family and enjoyed crafts, hobbies and her dogs.

She is survived by her husband, Dwain Dobbs of Hobbs three children, Frank Dobbs, Rocky Dobbs and Brittany Boyd all of Hobbs a brother, Bill Kinzy, and wife Emily, of NM a sisterinlaw, Patsy Kinzy of TX six grandchildren, ReShea of TX, Brandy of TX, Angela of ME, Lance of OK, Clifford of Hobbs and Bradley of Hobbs 15 greatgrandchildren and 1 greatgreatgrandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Gary Dobbs and a brother Marvin Kinzy.
