Funeral Mass for Victoriano Orquiz Galindo, 74, of Hobbs will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 6, 2010, at St. Helena Catholic Church.
Father Juan Carlos Ramirez will officiate. Burial will follow services at Prairie Haven Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 8 a.m. 8 p.m. Tuesday,October 5, at Chapel of Hope. Rosary will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday, October 5 at Chapel of Hope which is in charge of arrangements.
Galindo died Saturday, October 2, 2010, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock. He was born on June 8, 1936, in San Bernardo, Mexico. He married Antonia Palomo Galindo in Lovington on August 8, 1960. She survives him.
He was a member of St Helena Catholic Church.
Survivors include a son, Fernando Galindo and wife Elina of Hobbs daughter Adrianna Cabezuela of New Mexico four brothers, Cesareo Galindo and wife Olivia of Woodland, California, Jose Isabel Galindo and wife Evangelina of San Bernardo, Durango, Mexico, Rosalio Galindo and wife Ramona of San Bernardo, Durango, Mexico, and Juan Galindo of Cd. Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico four sisters, Eugenia Barraza and husband Ramon of La Granja, Durango, Mexico, Anastasia Lopez and husband Andres of Cd., Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico, Joaquina Galindo of San Bernardo, Durango, Mexico, and Antonia Moreno and husband Hector of Cd. Juarez, Chihuahua Mexico nine grandchildren and one greatgrandchild.
He was preceded in death by parents Antonio and Maria Trinidad Galindo and two brothers, Jose and Cornelio Galindo.
