Ursula Wilcox

Funeral services for Ursula Wilcox, 74, of Hobbs, will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 3, 2012, at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints officiated by Bro. Clay Reber. Ursula died October 25, 2012, in Seminole, TX. She was born July 2, 1938, in Konstanz, Germany, to Paul and Johanna Braun. The family will greet friends 5 7 p.m. on Friday at Chapel of Hope. Burial will take place at a later date. Ursula married LeRoy Wilcox December 19, 1963 in Salt Lake City, UT. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Ursula worked at GTE for over 20 years, also was a sub at Hobbs High and was a child advocate for CASA. She loved sewing, reading, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren. She was very active in her church and in the community. She will be greatly missed.

Surviving Ursula is her husband, W. LeRoy Wilcox of Hobbs daughter, Monica Kelley, and husband Shannon, of Irving, TX son, Jeffrey P. Wilcox, and wife Ami, of Syracuse, UT daughter, Kelly Peterson, and husband David, of Spring, TX son, Scott B. Wilcox, and wife Kristi, of Albuquerque, NM and daughter Renee Shaw, and husband Doug, of Roswell, NM 11 grandchildren and 1 greatgrandchild.

Ursula was preceded in death by her brother and sisters.
