Troy Mccold

Funeral services for Troy McCold, age 76, formally of Hobbs, will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturay, September 7, 2013, at Chapel of Hope Funeral Home with Minister Andrew Herbert officiating. Public viewing will be Friday 117:00 p.m at Chapel of Hope. Services are Saturday, 7, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Chapel of Hope. Burial will follow at Prairie Haven Memorial Park. He was born February 27, 1937 in Reno, Nevada, to James and Velma McCold. He died September 3, 2013, in Amarillo Texas.

Troy married Velma Fay Cowdrey and they had 3 daughters. He was of the Baptist faith. He was a carpenter at the potash mines for over 30 years. He was avid fisher and golfer.
He is survived by three daughters, Deborah Lewis Pipkin of Farmington, NM Karen Carl Williams of Amarillo, TX Melody Donald Teague of Hobbs, NM two sisters, Dorcus Cantrell of Jacksboro, TX Sharon Brown of TX. And, also 7 grandchildren and 11 great grand children.
Troy is preceded in death by his wife Shirley McCold and daughter Sherrie Hunter.
