Toni Garcia

Toni Ybañez Garcia was born July 5, 1939 to Leopoldo and Cruzita Ybañez in George West, Texas. Toni was called to heaven the night of April 2, 2025, peacefully at home surrounded by her husband Johnny and great grandsons Joshua and Gabriel.

Toni loved being around her family, telling jokes, making everybody laugh, and would always give the best advice. No matter who it was she always greeted you with the biggest, most beautiful smile that lit up any room. She loved working as a nurse for Lea Regional for 20+ years and retired in 2020. She was known by many and loved by all.

Toni is survived by her husband Johnny Garcia, married for 66 years, her two twin sons Johnny -Wife Barbara, Richard -Wife Angie, 3 sisters Mary, Clara, and Helen, 3 brothers, Gilbert, Joe, and Ismael, 8 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 18 great great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Toni was preceded in death by her parents Leopoldo and Cruzita, sister Virginia, sister Calle and brother Isreal.
