Teresa Rendon of Hobbs, New Mexico passed away peacefully in her home, surrounded by those who loved her most on Sunday, May 9, 2021. Pallbearers for the services will be Steve Perez, Albert Perez Jr., Richard Perez, Jeremy Guajardo, Edward Chavarria Jr. and Mark Lueveno. Teresa was born on March 29, 1960 in Artesia, New Mexico and has remained a Bulldog for life. She is survived by two sons, Tim Rendon of Austin, Texas, Jaime Rendon and wife Genevieve of Hobbs, New Mexico, one daughter, Regina Rendon and fiancé, Nicholas Barrentine of Albuquerque, New Mexico, one granddaughter, Emma Rendon and one grandson, Zachariah Barrentine. She has 2 brothers, Danny Guajardo and wife Rachel and Gilbert Guajardo and wife Gracie along with 4 nieces and 1 nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents whom she loved dearly, Tim and Lupe Guajardo. Teresa served the Hobbs Public Schools for 24 years and touched many lives along the way. She most enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren. She loved playing pretend makeup and joining Emma at the playground. She loved sending Zachariah gifts and singing “Amor Chiquito” to him over FaceTime. She spoke with each of her children daily where she shared her motherly advice and unique sense of humor and always had their favorite meals planned with every visit. Her mother was her best friend and she selflessly served as her caregiver until her passing in April 2020. Teresa was a dedicated daughter, devoted mother and generous grandmother. We love you and miss you dearly.
