Funeral services for Taylor Lee May of Hobbs, New Mexico, are 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 10, 2008, at First United Methodist Church. Dr. Dean Mathis will officiate assisted by music minister Dershy;ick Wilson.
Burial will follow at Prashy;irie Haven Ceshy;metery.
Visitation is 8 a.m.- 8 p.rn. Tuesday with the famshy;ily in attendance from 5:30-6:30 p.rn. at Chapel of Hope Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel of Hope Funeral Home.
Taylor, 3, died December 5, 2008, at University of New Mexico Children's Hospital in Albuquerque New Mexico.
Taylor left this life to meet Jesus on December 5, 2008, at 9:07 p.m. He was a very strong and happy child who lit up the room where he was. During his treatment, Taylor wanted to know what was going to be happening next. When asked how he was, the answer was always better. Taylor was observant and very intelligent. Taylor's favorite thing to do at the hospital was chase the nurses in the hall.
Survivors include his parshy;ents, Phillip and Tiffany May of Hobbs, New Mexico; his nana, Betty Hawkins of Hobbs, New Mexico; his grandparents, Ben and June Canfield of Hobbs, New Mexico, and Eddie and Mary May of San Angelo, Texas; a great-grandshy;ma, Jewel Bible of Hobbs, New Mexico; and his great-grandparshy;ents, J.T. and Anna Woods of Mountain View, Arkansas, O.P May of San Angelo, Texas, and Charlotte Glover of San Angelo, Texas.
Taylor was preceded in death by his grandpa, Lee Holbrook; and his great-grandparents, Leon Bible and General Sherman and Sally Holbrook.
