A memorial service for Sue Susie Winn of Hobbs, N.M., will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10, 2008, at Chapel of Hope Funeral Home with Dr. David Matkins officiating. Cremation will take place.
Mrs. Winn, 64, died Feb. 6, 2008, at University Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas. She was born Dec. 18, 1943, in Mattoon, Ill.
Sue had been employed with Chevron Oil Co. and retired from New Mexico Junior College after many years of service. She was a care giver to Emme Sue Gomez and enjoyed reading, walking and golf. Sue was a loving and giving person. Her spiritual gift was mercy to everyone. Sue's greatest joy in life was her family.
She was a member of Fellowship of Believers.
Survivors include two sons, Steven Mark and wife Angela Schnaubert and Bubba Schnaubert, all of Hobbs, N.M.; two daughters, Joy Schnaubert and Julie and husshy;band Daniel Jett, all of Hobbs, N.M.; a sister, Joy and husshy;band Phil Tingle of Hobbs, N.M.; two brothers, Ted and wife Carol Oliver of Hobbs, N.M., and Jim and wife Mary Oliver of Truth or Consequences, N.M.; an aunt, Marge Walker of Hobbs, N.M.; her grandchildren, Brad, Karra, Kayla, Hollie, Brandon, Dusty; Roland, Amanda, Jolie, Sayde and Caeden David; a great-granddaughter, Mylie; her niece and nephews, Dawn Rachelle, Roland and Anthony; a great-niece; and two great-nephews.
Susie was preceded in death by her parents and one greatshy;nephew, Julian Skye.
