Services for Sue Evrage, 73, of Hobbs will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, February 9, 2010, at First United Methodist Church with pastor Darren Skinner assisted by Mr. Monty Newman.
Burial will follow at Prairie Haven Memorial Park. Visitation will be 2 5 p.m. Sunday, 8 a.m. 7 p.m. Monday at Chapel of Hope.
Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel of Hope Funeral Home.
She died February 4, 2010, at her home in Hobbs. She was born January 21, 1937, in Abilene, Texas.
Sue had been a realtor thirtyfour years. She was a million dollar seller each of those years. She was a certified residential specialist, served the Realtors Development Committee and was Realtor of the Year in 1997 for Hobbs. She served on many committees such as Miss New Mexico Scholarship Pageant, various committees at First United Methodist Church,was on the first hospice board in Hobbs, and was active in Palmer Drug Abuse Program Board. She was also a member of Hobbs Literary Club. She treasured her family and friends.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Billy Richards and wife Pat of Hobbs and Michael Richards and wife Jasmine of Plato, Missouri eight grandchildren, Billy and Murphy Richards of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Chelsea, Hannah and Matthew of Plato, Missouri, Amber Beaty of Odessa, Texas, Jason Garey of Austin, Texas, and Kacy Caperton of Albuquerque, New Mexico and many special friends.
She was preceded in death by a son, Alan Richards and a brother and sisterinlaw, Ray and Dorothy Mussato.
