Sue Bennett

Sue Rees Bennett, 76, passed from this life in Hobbs, New Mexico on November 2, 2013. She was born May 7, 1937 In Bartlesville, Oklahoma to Joseph Ezra and Gretchon Velma Hefner Rees.

Gretchon Sue Bennett worked as a financial officer for Dial Finance which became Norwest FinancialWells Fargo Financial
for 41 years, retiring only at their closing in 2010. Sues first love was her family. She was an avid bowler, serving as league secretary for two leagues. She was a member of WIBC, and a board member of the USBC. Sue also enjoyed craftwork, including beading knitting and crocheting.

Sue is survived by three daughter, Lynn Steele of Hobbs, NM, Jane Linduff of Byron, Georgia, and Susan Waits of Hobbs, NM four grandchildren, Kris Steele, Hobbs, Amy Wall, Hobbs, Ryan Linduff, Bonner Springs, Kansas, and Todd Steele, Villa Ridge, Illinois, six greatgrandchildren, two nieces, her sister Jo Ann Berry of Riverside, California, and her two babies Mollie and China

Sue Bennett was preceded in death by her parents, and one nephew Michael Berry.

Memorial services will be at Chapel of Hope Funeral Home at 11 a.m. on Thursday, November 7, 2013.
