Stanley Shipp

Stanley Mack "Stan" Shipp born to Ovie and Madeine Shipp 7/10/1941 in Hobbs, NM. Passed away 8/17/23 at home after many strokes and other health issues. He was a butcher in Hobbs for many years before driving a semi-truck got in his blood. He retired from Wal-Mart 15 years ago. He was a member of the Roadrunner Antique car club after restoring his dads 1960 Jeep Willis PU. He is survived by Sandy Shipp, wife of the home and many extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Peggy, stepdaughter Vivian and stepson Jack. Cremation will take place and services will be at a later date. The family wishes to thank Enhabit Hospice, especially nurses Amber and Keagan, and Chaplin Dennis Durfee.
