Shirley Derrick

Funeral services for Shirley Derrick,73, of Hobbs will be Friday, October 18, 2013, 2:00 pm at Chapel of Hope with Gentive Hospice Chaplain, Mike McGuire officiating. Shirley was born April 18, 1940 in Gould, Oklahoma to V. N. and Opal Noseff. She passed away October 16 at Hobbs Health Care Center in Hobbs. Burial will follow the funeral service at Prairie Haven Memorial Park.
Shirley had lived with her daughter in Stamford, Texas for fourteen years before moving back to Hobbs. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her daughter, Cyndi Simmons and husband, Charles of Stamford, TX Two brothers John Noseff and wife, Jeri of Frisco, TX, Ray Noseff and wife, Debbie of Hobbs two sisters Evelyn Johnson of Hobbs, and Billie Claybrook of Vidor, TX 7 grandchildren and 13 greatgrandchildren.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, husband, I. D. Derrick and a son, David Rogers.
