A memorial service for Sherrie Hunter of Hobbs will be 3 p.m. Friday, April 1, 2011, at Chapel of Hope Funeral Home. Cremation will take place.

Hunter, 49, died March 30, 2011, in Hobbs. She was born June 3, 1961, in Hobbs. She married John Hunter on August 16, 1989, in Hobbs.

She was a member of Crosswinds Church.

Survivors include her husband, John Hunter of Hobbs parents Troy and Shirley McCold of Hobbs two daughters, Tiffani Parker of Cross Plains, TX, and Megan Samora of Farmington, NM three sisters, Debbie Pipkin of Farmington, Karen Williams of Amarillo, TX, and Melody Teague of Hobbs stepson Jonathan Hunter of Midland, TX and six grandchildren.
