Sherry Bixby

A memorial service for Sherry Lynn Bixby of Lovington will be 10 a.m. Monday, June 14, 2010, at Chapel of Hope Funeral Home.

Pastor Steve Lord, Star Hospice chaplain, will officiate. Cremation will take place.

Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel of Hope Funeral Home.

Bixby, 49, died June 10, 2010, at University Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas. She was born January 4, 1961, in Decatur, Texas. She married Chris Bixby on November 9, 1996, in Grapevine, Texas.

Sherry enjoyed the outdoors, especially gardening and fishing. She had animals of many kinds and loved them all.

Survivors include her husband, Chris Bixby of Lovington two sons of Texas mother Delores Boughton of Texas brother Jimmy Boughton of Texas two sisters, Shirley and Sharon and motherinlaw Elisha Bixby of Lewisville, Texas.

Sherry was preceded in death by her father, James Boughton and fatherinlaw Jon Bixby.
