Sheila Garrett

A memorial service for Sheila Garrett, 50, of Hobbs will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, July 19, 2010, at Chapel of Hope Funeral Home. Mr. Dave Small will officiate. Cremation will take place.

Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel of Hope Funeral Home.

Sheila died July 15, 2010, at her home. She was born April 14, 1960, in Hobbs. She married Johnny M. Garrett on April 30, 2004, in Hobbs.

Sheila was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister and grandmother. She enjoyed painting, crafts and gardening. She was an avid animal lover artist and music lover.

Survivors include husband, Johnny Garrett of Hobbs mother, Lynna Spoonemore Palmer of Hobbs father, Albert A. Palmer of Odessa, Texas son John Ross McMillian and wife Kelley of Hobbs daughter DShae Duke and husband Jacob of Cypress, Texas bonus kids, Ricky Garrett of Hobbs, John Garrett of Portales, Chelsea Garrett of Portales and Allison Holder of College Station, Texas brother, Aaron Palmer of Hobbs sister, Sheryl Stiles of New Boston, Texas grandma, Ruby Palmer of Lovington and granddaughter, Camdyn Duke of Cypress, Texas.

Sheila was preceded in death by her grandparents.
