Shawn Rube

Shawn Michael Mike Rube passed away in the arms of his father in heaven, surrounded by his family. Memorial services for Mike, 40, of Hobbs, will be Wednesday, April 27, 2011, 4:00 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church on Denver City Highway with Pastor Jimmy Crawford officiating.

Mike died April 16, 2011, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock. He was born December 16, 1970, in Hobbs. Mr. Rube worked in telecommunications as a network engineer. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. His niece Haely was the love of his life.

Surviving Mike are his mother, Pat Prince, and husband Ron, of Hobbs, and his father Lynn A. Rube of Fresno, CA sister, Cindy Rube of Hobbs niece Haely Faith Shirley grandmother, Margaret Warren of Texas City, TX aunts and uncles, Dennis and Ruth Rube of Roseburg, OR, Gary and Sandy Prince of Lovington, NM, and Susan Warren.

Preceding him in death are his grandparents, Fred and Clara Warren, Henry and Chris Rube and Skeet and Nora Wilkerson great uncle and aunt, David and Betty Clarke and uncle Chuck Warren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Lea County Humane Society, 702 N Grimes, Hobbs, NM 88240, in honor of his furry baby cat of 16 years, Nikki.
