Sara Pacheco
Services for Sara Sarita Pacheco will be held at 10 a.m.,
Saturday, Aug. 24 at Chapel of Hope Funeral Home with
Reverends Felipe and Rebecca Guerra officiating.
Sara was born to Refugio and N a t i v i d a d
Garcia on March 10, 1938. in Matamoros,
C o a h u i 1a. Mexico. She died Aug. 21
in her home in Hobbs at the age of 75. Sara was a beloved wife,
mother and sister. She married
Larry Pocheco June 12,1976 in Lovington. Her grandchildren
Pacheco held a special place in herheart. She
enjoyed working with her crocheting. Sara was
a member of the Assembly of God Church. She was the
owner of El Caballero Restaurant since May 25, 1983.
Also owned LaPosada motel since 1988.
Sara is survived by her husband, Larry of Hobbs 2 daugh
ters. Fabiola Avila. Claudia Creed and husband Lonnie of
Hobbs: two brothers. Eleazar and Luis Fernando of Hobbs
eight sisters, Martha, Magdalena, Irma, Ludivina,
Rosario. Aide, Cuca. and
Ofelia. And two grandchildren Luis Gerardo and Lonnie
Edher. Also numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Sara was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers,
Javier and Magdanely.
Visitation for Sara will be Friday from noon8 p.m. at
Chapel of Hope and Saturday
from 8 a.m. until service time.
Burial will be after services at
Memory Gardens Cemetery.
