Sandra Kay Lackey Randolph, 70, graced this world with her presence on Oct. 17, 1947 in Plainview, Texas. She left her earthly life on April 22, 2018 in Hobbs following a recurring battle with cancer.
Kay is one of nine children born to Mary and Claudis Lackey. She married the love of her life Ken Randolph on Nov. 22, 1968 in Brownfield, Texas. They would have celebrated 50 years together in marriage this year.
Kay's greatest achievements in life involved her three children, Kathy, Kevin, and Kerri. She thoroughly enjoyed watching her beloved Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers, win or lose, sitting on her patio and playing with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She and Ken spent the later part of their lives traveling throughout North America with family and friends and stopped at any casino within sight.
She is survived by her loving husband Ken, of the home, three children Kathy Randolph of Espanola, N.M.; Kevin (Julie) Randolph of Cibolo, Texas; and Kerri Hardiman of Artesia; six grandchildren, Tiffany, Brittany, Kaylyn, Kendon, Blake and Bailey; four great-grandchildren Gabrielle, Damian, Kaleb and Serenity and one sister Linda Lackey of Hobbs.
She is preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, Wanda, Joan, Joyce and Betty; three brothers, Gerald, Don and Doug and son-in-law Larry Hardiman.
