Russell Wayne (Tank) Flowers was born October 12, 1973, to Burt and Kathy Flowers in Hobbs, New Mexico and died June 29, 2021, in Hobbs.
He was preceded in death by his mother Kathy Flowers.
Survived by his wife Susan Flowers, bonus sons; Austin Vancleve, Colby Vancleve, Austin Kidd, and Clayton Kidd, father Burt Flowers, brother Jeff Flowers, nephews Zach Flowers, Chris Flowers and many cousins and aunts.
Russell enjoyed spending his time outside with his many friends of which were All family to him. He was always the first one to lend a hand to anyone in need from benefit cookouts to helping them repair a motorcycle or car just whatever it took to help. His passions in life were motorcycles and cooking, he loved hopping on one of his several motorcycles at the drop of a hat gather a few friends and road trip!
When it came to his cooking, he was always ready for the next competition and no matter how good the last brisket, chicken or ribs were; it wasn’t good enough. He was always looking for perfection and to win, of course. Him and his wife also competed in chili cook-offs which, if he did not win it was okay as long as he beat her. LOL
Russell will be greatly missed by many people.
