Ruby Weston

Ruby Weston, 79, formerly of Hobbs, passed away Saturday in the Baptist Memorial Nursing Home in San Angelo, Texas. Funeral services are schedule for 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 20, 2010, at Prairie Haven Memorial Park Chapel with Reverend LaVoid Ford officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Haven Cemetery.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 7 p.m. at Chapel of Hope Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.

Weston was born March 29, 1930, in Honey Grove, Texas. She married William Floyd Weston on November 6, 1951, in Premont, Texas. Mrs. Weston moved to Hobbs in 1998 before moving to San Angelo. She was a babysitter and a member of Northside Baptist Church.

She is survivied by a son, Wayne Weston and wife Neena of DeSoto, Texas three daughters, JoAnn Williams of San Angelo, Texas, Linda Compton of Hobbs and Patty Rush and husband Otis of San Angelo, Texas one brother, Virgil Sharp of Texas 10 grandchildren, 18 greatgrandchildren and five greatgreatgrandchildren.

Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, William Floyd Weston on August 18, 1981, and brother LeRoy Sharp.
