Rosella Bartsch

A funeral service for Rosella L. Bartsch, 95, of Hobbs, will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 2, 2012, at Chapel of Hope with Pastor Kenneth Reed officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 1, 8 a.m. 6 p.m. at Chapel of Hope which is in charge of arrangements. The family will greet friends from 4 6 p.m. Wednesday. Interment will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, February 7, 2012, in Brea, CA.brbrRosella died January 30, 2012, in Hobbs, NM. She was born September 18, 1916, in Fairmont, MN, to Louis and Louise Poppe. She was of the Lutheran faith. Rosella was very adebt at being a good farm hand helping her husband. She loved cooking and canning for her family. Rosella outlived most of her family.brbrSurviving Rosella are her sons, Larry Bartsch, and wife Junie, of Hobbs and Lyle Bartsch, and wife Joyce, of Mohavie Valley, AZ; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.brbrShe was preceded in death by four brothers, a sister and a grandson. brbrMemorial contributions may be made to any Lutheran church.br
