Ronald Nixon

Ronald I. Nixon 79 of Hobbs, NM passed away December 26, 2018.

Ronald was born January 25, 1939 in Hext, Menard County, Texas to Leo Howard and Hazel (High) Nixon. He graduated high school in London, TX in 1956 and then enlisted in the United States Air Force.
In 1958 he married Jolene Davis at the First Baptist Church in London, TX. They moved to San Angelo, TX in 1960 where they lived until moving to Hobbs, NM in June of 1978.
In 1981 he opened Southwestern Trailer Equipment Co., Inc and together with his three sons, have continued in business for 37 years.

Ronald is survived by his wife Jolene, sons; Rex E. and wife Sherri (Trammel), Joel, and Aron and wife Allison (Marker), three granddaughters; Elizabeth, Rebekah and Hailey and two great grandchildren, Jason and Serenity.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers; Raymond, Roy, and Raygen Nixon.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Hobbs Animal Shelter.
