Rodney Rudy, Jr.

A funeral mass for Rodney Rudy, Jr. will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 23, 2012, at St. Helena Catholic Church with a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday at Chapel of Hope. Visitation will be 8 a.m. 8 p.m. Wednesday at Chapel of Hope. Interment will take place after the mass at Prairie Haven Memorial Park. Rodney died August 17, 2012, in Hobbs. He was born July 24, 1989, in Hobbs to Corina Martinez and Rodney Rudy, Sr.

Rodney loved to sing and loved music. He was heard saying he didnt know what he would do without music. He also loved to dance, to race and being outdoors. Rodney enjoyed fishing and hunting but most of all he loved his family. He was a wonderful dad, son, brother and friend and a most generous person he would give you his last red cent if he had it.

Surviving Rodney is his wife Ariana Mendoza daughters, Ausiana and Cilicia Rudy parents, Corina and Phillip Martinez father, Rodney Rudy, Sr. his sisters, Victoria Rudy, China Sosa and Julie Randolph stepbrother, Matthew Martinez grandparents, Freddie Longoria Sr. and Maria Chavez greatgrandmother, Manuela Perales many aunts and uncles. All of his family is currently residing in Hobbs.

Preceding Rodney in death are Estrella Marie Rudy, Guadalupe Longoria, Jose Perales, Sr. , Roland Rollo Rheude and Jose A. Longoria.
