alignjustifyA memorial service for Richard Dick Sadler will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 9, 2009, at Chapel of Hope Funeral Home. Pastor John Ayers will officiate. Mr. Sadler will be cremated.

alignjustifyMr. Sadler, 78, died June 6, 2009, at Lea Regional Medical Center. He was born December 24, 1930, in Anson, Texas. He married Charmayne Sadler on May 30, 1958, in Houston.

alignjustifyRichard was raised in Odessa, Texas, and graduated from high school there. He earned a B.S. degree in accounting from the University of Houston. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean conflict. Richard had been employed with B G Transportation, France Compressor Products and was employed with Apache Sales for the past 15 years uhtil the time of his death. Golf was his passion in life.

alignjustifyHe was a member of the Fellowship of Believers.

alignjustifySurvivors include his wife, Charmayne Sadler, of Hobbs; two daughters, Rhonda Sadler of Hobbs and Chase Casey and favorite son-in-law Mike of Hobbs; sister, Joan Davis of Midland, Texas; grandchildren, Casey Contreras and husband Fabian of Hobbs and Colt Cottingham and wife Margie of Hobbs; great-grandchildren, Jayden Contreras of Hobbs, Alexa Contreras of Hobbs, Mia Contreras of Hobbs, Cameron Cottingham of Humble, Texas, Kylie Cottingham of Hobbs and Chloe Cottingham of Hobbs.
