Richard Pena

Richard Pena was born on January 29, 1984, In Hobbs New, Mexico. Richard graduated from Hobbs High School in 2003.  He leaves behind his parents Gil and Criselda Pena along with his sister and his niece Corina and Alyssa Pena. Richard passed away unexpectedly on December 1st, 2022 at the age of 38 in Lubbock TX. He enjoyed listening to all different types of music, he was known for helping friends and family out without hesitation, and always joking around with others trying to make everyone laugh. Richard enjoyed watching football cheering for his favorite team the 49ers. He also enjoyed watching cooking shows and loved to try and recreate the meals he seen on tv for his mother to enjoy. Richard also enjoyed being with family and friends especially his dog (Chuco) who he always had. The one thing though that really made Richard happy was being a welder’s helper he always enjoyed being able to be out there helping when they needed him.

Richard was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Tomasa Diaz, maternal grandfather Antonio Diaz, paternal grandmother Avelina Orona.

We will always miss him and all his crazy antics that he always somehow got himself into all the time.
