Reynaldo Orona

Reynaldo Pee Wee Orona, Sr., 70, of Hobbs, passed from this life November 8, 2013 in Hobbs. Mr. Orona was born May 19, 1943 in Carlsbad, New Mexico to Agustine and Martina Hernandez Orona.

Reynaldo Pee Wee married Manuela Nellie in Seminole, Texas on January 24, 1969. Pee Wee worked as a pump jack installer as well as a truck driver in the oil field. He retired from Billy Walker after 22 years. He was one of the hardest working men around. Pee Wee was always ready to lend a helping hand. His pride and joy were his children, grandchildren, and greatgrandchildren. Reynaldo Pee Wee was the best husband and dad you could ask for.

Reynaldo Pee Wee is survived by his wife Manuela Nellie, of the home daughter and soninlaw, Nora and Johnny Valenzuela and son, Reynaldo RJ Orona, Jr. brother Agustine Orona, Hobbs sisters Appollonia Aguilar, Maricela Hernandez, Patricia Rodriguez, all of Hobbs Manuela Whitaker of Memphis, Tennessee, and Stella Torres, of Albuq., NM. Seven grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren.

Rosary will be held at 6:00 pm, Thursday, November 14, at Chapel of Hope. Funeral Mass will be at St. Helena, 2:00 pm, Friday, November 15, 2013.
