Rebecca Perez

Rebecca (Becky) E. Perez, age 55, died on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at Nor-Lea General Hospital in Lovington. She was born on April 30th, 1961 in Roswell, New Mexico to Jack and Effie (Nichols) Garrett. She married Carlos Perez on June 4, 1980 and together they had two daughters. Becky enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. She worked as a 5th grade teacher at College Lane Elementary where she touched the lives of coworkers and students alike. She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Carlos; and daughters, Effie and Jessica.
