Raymond C. Foreman, 86, was born January 3, 1930 in Ballinger, TX to R. C. and Trudie Foreman. He passed away Saturday, September 17, 2016 in Hobbs, NM.
Raymond served in the Korean war. He married Frances Gann on May 15, 1953 in Carlsbad, NM. He was a passionate carpenter all of his life. He was a 3rd year apprentice at the age of 17. He was employed at IMC Potash Mines for 25 years, where he worked in the carpenter shop. Raymond enjoyed the outdoors, camping, and going to parks. He loved cars and liked to trade them often. He greatly loved his family. His church was a great part of his life. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Hobbs. He trusted Christ as his personal saviour at the age of 13.
He leaves behind his wife, one daughter; Gerri Butler (Kenneth) of Hobbs, NM, two sons; Pastor Robb Foreman (Terresa) of Midland, TX and Cliff Foreman (Evelyn) of Santa Fe, NM, one brother; Randall Foreman (Lee) of Allyn, WA, two sisters; Cecelia Warick of Pagosa Springs, CO and Joy Davis (Henry) of Roland, OK, one sister-in-law; Nancy Foreman of Odessa, TX, six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Raymond was preceded in death by his brother; Franklin Foreman and granddaughter; Sadie Rae Foreman.
