Raymond Boyd

Funeral services for Raymond Boyd, 32, of Hobbs, will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 2, 2012, at Church of the Firstborn. Raymond died October 29, 2012, in Hobbs. He was born July 18, 1980, in Cornelius, OR, to Valerie and Terry Boyd. Interment will be after services at Prairie Haven Memorial Park. Raymond married Brittany Thomas April 7, 2007, in Hobbs.

Raymond was a friendly guy he could make anyone smile and he could make friends with anyone, anywhere. He was just starting up his business called BarrelsnBrass where he was selling ammo. He lived in Colorado a major part of his life. In his spare time, he loved to visit the mountains and fish. RayRay was an amazing guy with a beautiful heart. He will be missed by his family, all his inlaws and his friends. We love you. He was a member of The General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn.

Surviving Raymond, is his wife Brittany of Hobbs mother and father, Valerie and Terry Boyd of Delta, CO sister, Michelle, and husband Scott Neely, of Cortez, CO brothers, Wayne Boyd of Grand Junction, CO, Shane Boyd of Delta, CO, and Dustin Boyd, and wife Audrey, of Tahoka, TX 5 nephews and 3 nieces.

Preceding Raymond in death were his grandfathers, Norm Bud Sweezy and Daniel Edgar Boyd.
