Raymond Beam

After a brave battle with canshy;cer, Raymond Edward Beam, 71, passed from this life on April 17, 2007, at home in the comfort of his family and friends. He was born Aug. 15, 1935, in Floresville, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie and Mildred Beam. Those left to cherish Raymond's memory are his wife, Barbara; his daughshy;ter, Cindy Nicholson and her husband, Paul, from Portales N.M.; a son, Kenneth Beam of Rockwall, Texas; a son, Michael Pearson and his wife, Mary, of Hobbs, N.M.; a daughshy;ter, Kelly Nance and her husshy;band, Herbert, of Topeka, Kan.; a daughter, Paula Pettibon and her husband, Mike, of Argyle, Texas; 13 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; a brother, Cotton Beam and his wife, Lillian, of Fall City; Texas; his mother-in-law, Ellen Bush; and his best friend Max.

At Raymond's request he will be cremated and a memorial service for family and friends will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Chapel of Hope Funeral Home.
