Ray Flowers, 75 was born November 20, 1942 in Vernon, TX to C.H and Louise Flowers. He left us to be with the Lord on October 25, 2018. He is preceded in death by his parents C.H & Louise Flowers, brother Clury Flowers, Jr. and sister-in-law Irene Naron. He married Shirley Jean Mock September 15,1962 in Hobbs. In Ray's earlier days racing cars with his father and brothers was his biggest passion. That passion eventually turned into transforming any boat, car or trailer into his crazy visions. We could all say Ray was the original transformer. Ray had many businesses over the years and put life into everything he ever did. When he wasn't on the go, he was at home watching westerns with the volume to 100. Ray's greatest loves were fishing, poker, and his family. He is survived by wife Shirley Flowers, daughter Vickie & Dee Whatley, son Johnny Flowers, brother Burt & Kathy Flowers, sister-in-law Judy Flowers, sister-in-law Emily & Garland Price, sister-in-law DeeDee & Floyd Ganaway, brother-in-law Dale Naron, grandchildren Ashley & Danny Criswell, Terry Flowers, Haylee Flowers, Kaytlyn Flowers, & Kylee Rose Flowers, including his great-grandchildren; Destiny Criswell, Desirae Criswell, Khloe Flowers, Danny Ray Criswell, and Marcus Mendoza, along with many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
