Ramesh Navuluri

Ramesh Navuluri, 49, died Wednesday; Nov. 29, 2006, in Hobbs, N.M. He was born June 18, 1957, in Kanamalla, Andhra Pradesh India. He married Siva Kumari Navuluri.

Mr. Navuluri was a memshy;ber of varishy;ous organizations including American Nurses Association, American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and Hobbs Evening Lions Club. His achievements include New Mexico Distinguished Nurse of the Year in 2005, New Mexico Nursing Excellence Award in 2005, honored lifeshy;time member of United Who's Who Among Executives and Professionals, Nizam Gold Medallion in Agronomy and Junior Fellowship. He gradushy;ated in 1981 from Andhra Pradesh Agricultural University with a Master of Science in agriculture and obtained a Master of Science in nursing with family nurse practitioner from Texas Tech University in 1998. He was also involved in several comshy;munity activities along with his children.

Survivors include his wife, Siva Kumari Navuluri of Hobbs; a daughter, Neelima Navuluri of Hobbs; two sons, Sriram Navuluri and Sricharan Navuluri, both of Hobbs; his mother, Subbamma Navuluri of India; a brother, Srinivasa Rao Navilluri of India; and numerous uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Kotaiah Navuluri.
