alignjustifyPepper was born January 25, 1933, to Harvey and Eleanor Ives in Taunton, Massachusetts. She attended art school in Boston, MA, and was a flight attendant with United Airlines. She met and married James. M. Murray III of Hobbs while he was attending MIT in Cambridge, MA.
alignjustifyShe moved to Hobbs in 1960. Over the years she has been active in Junior Service League, the Miss New Mexico Pageant, Literary Club, Hobbs Community Playhouse, Master Gardeners and St. Christopher's Episcopal Church. She enjoyed making pottery and was passionate about her garden and dollhouse miniatures.
alignjustifySurvivors include two children, a son, Michael Murray, and a daughter, Samantha Murray, both of Dallas, Texas.
alignjustifyIn lieu of flowers contributions may be made to StandUp2Cancer.org, the Lea County Humane Society or the International Guild of Miniature Artisans IGMA.
