Patsy Ruth Elston, age 90, of Hobbs, New Mexico, went home to be with her Lord on November 17, 2020. She was born in Sweetwater, Texas on December 9, 1929, to King Albert and Gladys Laverne Kincaid Green. She was a 1947 honor graduate of Monahans High School, Monahans, Texas. She married the love of her life, Alfred Foy Elston, in Monahans, February 1st, 1949. She is survived by her five children, Deborah Faulk and husband Dwight of Rocksprings, Tx., Anna Helms and husband John of Las Cruces, N.M., Laura Alsabrook and husband Steve of Haskell, Tx., Lisa Rocha and husband Tony of Knox City, Tx., and Greg Elston and wife Ronda of Abilene, Tx. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren 25 great grand-children and 1 great-great-grandchild, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Alfred, her sister Toby Whisenhunt, and brother Arlen Green. She was a faithful member of the Church of Christ since her teen years. She was much loved and admired by her entire family and will be dearly missed by them as well as by her dear christian church family, Taylor Street Church of Christ where she was greatly involved for over 30 years. Private family memorial services will be held in Texas.
