Patricia Maxwell

Funeral services for Patricia A. Maxwell of Hobbs, New Mexico, will be held 2:30 p.m. Friday, November 21, 2008, at Chapel of Hope Funeral Home with Minister Clay Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Haven Memorial Park.

Visitation is 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. until servshy;ice time Friday at Chapel of Hope Funeral Home.

Patricia, 67, died November 18, 2008, in Arlington, Texas. She was born September 13, 1941, in Hobbs, New Mexico.

Patricia grew up in Hobbs, leaving only shortly to attend Eastern New Mexico University. She then went to work for the City of Hobbs where she retired after 25 years of service. Pat loved to crochet, read and watch her grandchildren learning how to swim in her swimming pool. Nothing meant more to her than her children and grandshy;children. She will greatly be missed by all.

Survivors include a son, Steve Maxwell and wife Sabrina of Arlington, Texas; twin daughters, Kimberly Johnston and husband Kyle of Hobbs, New Mexico, and Karen Hembree and husband Gordon of Arlington, Texas; a brother, John Plumlee and wife Genie of Sherman, Texas; her grandshy;children, Nick and Zac Maxwell, Hannah and Tyler Hembree, all of Arlington, Texas, and Kaleb Johnston of Hobbs, New Mexico. Pat is also surshy;vived by her niece, nephews, aunts, uncle, cousins and friends who dearly loved her.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
