Funeral services for Olivia R. Charo-Galvan of Hobbs, N.M., will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 13, at Christian Center with Pastor Jotty Kinney officiating. Burial will follow at Eunice Cemetery in Eunice, N.M.
Visitation is 1-8 p.m. Wednesday at Chapel of Hope Funeral Home with a Rosary recited at 6 p.m.
Ms. Charo-shy;Galvan, 68, died Sept. 10, 2007, at Covenant Medical Ceshy;nter in Lubshy;bock, Texas. She was born Sept. 29, 1938, in Pearsall, Texas.
Olivia moved to Hobbs, N.M., from Eunice, N.M., in 2003. She was a great cook and loved to travel. Olivia loved her children and grandshy;children.
Survivors include her husshy;band, Jimmy Galvan of the home; six sons, Daniel Charo of Albuquerque, N.M., Raymond Charo of Eunice, N.M., Joe Charo of Hobbs, N.M., Jimmy Galvan Jr. of Hobbs, N.M., and Joseph Galvan of Palestine, Texas; six daughshy;ters, Olivia Garcia of Lovington, N.M., Diane Sarmiento of Lubbock, Texas, Cloetilde Martinez of Lovington, N.M., Carina Newton of Monument, N.M., Anita Dennis of Hobbs, N.M., and Vickie Rodriguez of Phoenix, Ariz.; 36 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren.
Olivia was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Rudy Charo; and two infants.
