Norma Wright

alignjustifyFuneral services for Norma Wright of Hobbs, New Mexico, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 16, 2009, at Chapel of Hope. Pastor Billy Chidester will officiate.

Burial will follow at Memory Gardens.

Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel of Hope Funeral Home.

alignjustifyVisitation will be Monday from 11 a.m.-5 p.m., Tuesday from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. and Wednesday from 8 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

alignjustifyMrs. Wright, 81, died September 10, 2009, at Lea Regional Medical Center. She was born January 27, 1927, in Stroud, Oklahoma.

alignjustifyNorma worked at Albertson's for 20 years. She enjoyed people and made many friends while working. She loved to garden and always had a pretty yard. Norma loved her family and her dog, JennE. She was a member of First Baptist Church.

alignjustifySurvivors include a son, Scotty Wright and wife Linda of Hobbs, New Mexico; a brother, Ralph Morand and wife Marsha of Helena, Montana; two grandchildren, James Barton of Noble, Oklahoma, and Kayla Richardson and husband Shannon of Hobbs, New Mexico; great-grandchildren, Corey Barton, Jordan Ziegler and Keegan Richardson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

alignjustifyNorma was preceded in death by a grandson, Scotty Ray Wright, and a sister, Billie Saxon.
