Nicholas Woods

Nicholas (Nick) Woods, 49, beloved husband, father, son, and friend was called to his eternal resting place on September 5, 2020. He was born to Peggy Woods and Rudolph Aragon. He is survived by his wife Michele Woods, son Jake Daley, daughter Kayla Woods, and siblings Patti Netzer, Todd Aragon, Jaimey Johnston, Tomas Aragon, and Carmelita Aragon. Nick was a devout husband and father. He loved his wife Michele with all of his heart. She truly was the love of his life. Nick loved his son Jake and was so proud that he has grown up to be such a wonderful husband, and father. Nick was so proud of his daughter Kayla. He taught her everything he knew about plumbing and supported every decision she ever made. He was her number one fan. Nick had a generous heart and was willing to help anyone at any time including a stranger. The word “no” was simply not in his vocabulary. He was a proud entrepreneur, and business owner of Nick Woods Plumbing LLC. He was hardworking and was the best at what he did. Most importantly, he was a proud biker. He rode thousands of miles on his Harley and had many adventures across the nation. Each year he looked forward to attending Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in South Dakota where he had met many friends that became family. He left a huge impression on everyone he came in contact with. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2020 at 11:00 AM in his hometown, Pinon, New Mexico at the First Baptist Church. The service will be followed by a covered potluck, so bring your favorite dish. A second service will be held Friday, September 18, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Chapel of Hope in Hobbs, NM. Each service will be followed by a motorcycle ride. Ride if you can!
