Neil Cobbs

Neil Wayne Cobbs, 51, of Tyler, TX, formally of Hobbs, NM, departed this life December 30, 2011, in Tyler, TX. Neil was born May 13, 1960, in Hobbs, NM. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 4, 2012, at Chapel of Hope Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Chidester and Rev. Benny Greenlee officiating. Burial will follow at Eunice Cemetery. Visitation for Neil will be Tuesday, January 3, 2012, from 11 a.m. 7 p.m. with the family in attendance from 5 7 p.m.

He is survived by his wife, Kirstie Ann daughter, Sara Katherine Katie sons, Ethan Riley and Graham Jamison of the home and Bryce Wayne and Brandon Neil of Granbury, TX. He is also survived by his father and mother, James Truly and Margie Helen Cobbs of Hobbs two sisters, Vickie Nagalapadi of Memphis, TX, and Tammie Pryer of Hobbs one brother, James Bud Cobbs of Hobbs and his father and motherinlaw, Marty and Mary Urban of Tyler, TX.

Neil worked in the oil and gas industry from 1979 until he became ill. He was well respected and liked by his peers. He enjoyed riding his Harley and time with his family. Neil was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Hobbs.

Services are under the direction of Chapel of Hope Funeral Home.
