alignjustifyFuneral services for Mildred King Mathews of Odessa, Texas, formerly of Hobbs, New Mexico, will be 2 p.m. Friday, March 20, 2009, at Chapel of Hope Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Prairie Haven Cemetery.

alignjustifyVisitation is 8 a.m. - 6 .p.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. until service time Friday.

alignjustifyMrs. Mathews, 70, died March 16, 2009, at Odessa Medical Center. She was born June 26, 1938, in Hobbs, New Mexico. She married Bob Mathews in 1958 in Hobbs, New Mexico.

alignjustifyMildred graduated from Hobbs High School in 1957. She enjoyed her family and life.

alignjustifyShe was a member of Sun Country Baptist Church in Odessa, Texas.

alignjustifySurvivors include her husband, Bob Mathews of Odessa, Texas; her brother, Ray Lloyd King of Cross Plains, Texas; a sister, Evelyn Barnes of Cross Plains, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

alignjustifyMarie was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.
