Mayruth Wolfe, 86, passed on November 19, 2016.
She was the youngest of six born to James Theodore "Ted" Stringfield and Flora Kuntz Stringfield in Chickasha, Oklahoma, March 30, 1929.
Mayruth graduated from Chickasha High School in 1947, where she was a cheerleader and captured the heart of Ross Thomas Wolfe. They were married 66 years.
She attended NMJC and College of the Southwest and attained her Master's Degree from ENMU. She taught the 4th and 6th grade at Jefferson Elementary in Hobbs, NM until she retired.
Mayruth loved the Lord, family, friends, history, game shows, playing cards, dominos, traveling, sports, teaching, playing the slots and dressing up on holidays and not only a good party but being the life of the party.
Mayruth married Ross Thomas Wolfe on June 30, 1949. They had three children, Ramona Wolfe (Bob Vinson), Roxanne and Doug Hicks and Tom and Shelly Wolfe; six grandchildren; Jodie, Jackie, Elizabeth, Chris, Monica and Kyle, nine great-grandchildren; Alyssa, Emma, Nick, Luke, Trevor, Tinley, Quinlee, Lexie and Braxton.
Mayruth was preceded in death by her parents, Ted and Flora Stringfield, sister; Hazel; two brothers Walter and James; sister Marguerite and her loving husband Ross Wolfe.
