Mary Martin

A graveside service for Mary Helen Martin of Hobbs will be 11 a.m. CST Saturday, May 29, 2010, at East View Cemetery in Vernon, Texas.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. 2 p.m. Friday at Chapel of Hope.

Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel of Hope Funeral Home.

Martin, 80, died May 26, 2010, at Lea Regional Medical Center. She was born April 29, 1930, in Pecan Gap, Texas. She married Buford L. Martin on January 6, 1962, in Childress, Texas. He died August 1, 1996.

Mary worked as an LVN in Kermit, Texas, for 15 years.

Survivors include a son, Ron Martin and wife Beverly of Hobbs two daughters, Barbara Woods and husband Dale of Pinetop, Arizona, and Brenda Jackson of Borger, Texas four sons,Gary and wife Kaye Martin of Celine, Texas, Ed Martin and wife Edie of Amarillo, Texas, Rodney Martin and wife Linda of Midland, Texas, and Dan Martin and wife Theresa of Mission, Texas numerous grandchildren, greatgrandchildren and greatgreatgrandchildren.

Helen was preceded in death by her husband, a son Roy Martin, and numerous brothers and sisters.
